Welcome to the course on Introduction to Bioenergy and Bioeconomy. The aim of this program is to understand the overview of the basic concept, conversion to biomass, what we call 'bioenergy'. Through the course, emphasis is given on different strategies to convert biomass to biofuels, available technologies and how these could meet the growing demand for energy in the future.
HIGH DEMAND
Global energy demand is
growing rapidly. Demand
for bioenergy is rising.
HUGE SUPPLY GAP
Availability of skilled
workers at all levels is a
challenge today.
BRIGHT FUTURE
A robust bioeconomy will
create domestic high-paying
job opportunities.
Considering the growing population and demand for dwindling resources, it is very important to adapt Bioeconomy framework as early as possible. The lack of available information, resources and development are bottlenecks. Therefore, this course proposes the analysis of current status of bioeconomy worldwide and how we can take steps forward in developing the bioeconomy.
- Learn Bioenergy concepts from world-class consultants, and thought leaders
- Get in-depth knowledge of the concepts and practical insights with case-studies and panel discussions
